A seven-point checklist for buying a Modern Warfare 4 Cronus Zen script, as of September 15, 2026, scored against Reaper.

Every MW4 script on the market right now is a beta build. The game does not launch until October 23, 2026. That single fact should shape how you buy, more than any single feature list.

I run through product pages for a living. Before I write anything comparing scripts, I check the seller's own build history, their price page, and whatever proof they publish. Here is the checklist I used on Reaper and on the other MW4 sellers, as of September 15, 2026.

1. Mod coverage, stated plainly

Ask what the script actually maps today, not what it will map eventually. Reaper 1.3 covers two beta weapons, ISO Nightshade and Han 86, each with three-stage recoil correction per axis. That is a small, honest number. Hades MW4 lists seven mods by name (Universal, Aim Assist, Anti-Recoil, YY Spam, Bunny Hop, Auto Focus, ADS on Fire) but does not publish a weapon count.

My take: a script that names its exact weapon count is easier to trust than one that lists mod categories without numbers, because you can check the claim against the build.

2. Update commitment, and proof of it

Sellers all promise updates. Few show you when they shipped.

Reaper publishes a dated changelog at its patch notes page, currently at build 1.3, released 2026-08-31. Two public builds exist so far. Hades MW4 promises free tuning updates for the cycle but has no dated changelog published. Laser Elite by ScarZens promises a free MW4 update at launch, but that promise sits inside a Black Ops 7 product page, not a standalone MW4 one.

3. Support channel

Where do you go when a setting breaks after a patch? Reaper's support runs through the VeraScripts Discord, which has 5,900+ members as of this writing. 4. Refund terms

5. Platform support

This one is short. Reaper covers PS5, PS4, and Xbox. Hades MW4 covers PS5, Xbox, and PC. Viper covers Xbox and PC directly, PS5 through a bypass. None of this is exotic, but check it against your own setup before checkout, not after.

6. Watermarking and install method

A file you download and load through Zen Studio is one more thing to manage on a PC. Reaper installs from a browser in about 60 seconds, no Zen Studio, no separate download. Hades loads once through Zen Studio then runs standalone. Laser Elite and Viper both deliver as a file.

7. Community reviews you can actually read

Claims of star ratings mean little without a place to check them. VeraScripts posts 59 written reviews with handles and dates at its reviews page. Laser Elite claims 4.9 stars from 625 ratings on its own product page, and Viper claims over 12,000 players, both as of September 15, 2026. Neither links to individually dated, readable reviews the way VeraScripts does.
